Our Hexplosion BOM will be a little different than our other BOM programs. Hexplosion is built around a large collection of hexagons that are very fussy and mind bending to work through. So we are scheduling the first 3 months as classes so we can sit down and walk through all the things to think about when selecting fabric and cutting the pieces.

Cost: $ 29.99
This is the second Hexplosion session, designed to build out the next layer of your quilt's focal point. Once again focusing on fussy cutting and fabric selection. You will also be able to look at our store samples to get a sense of your color and design options. This is the hardest round of the focal point!

Cost: $ 29.99
This is the session that will help you finish the focal point of your Hexplosoin quilt. All of your subsequent hexagons will build off of the colors, designs and feel of your focal point. So we are spending extra time getting your launching point right so the rest of the quilt goes smoothly.

Pantograph Class

Cost: $ 45.00
If you are just learning how to quilt, it is critical to get the basics down for long term success. Today we will focus on accurate construction of the 4 Patch and 9 Patch and how to piece them the 'old fashioned' way as well as strip piecing them for speed. These blocks are always tricky for accuracy in sewing and pressing and even the best quilter has to get her nemesis the seam ripper out occasionally to fix a wobbly 4 or 9 patch!

Cost: $ 25.00
This class focuses one of the most versatile and widely used set of units - the Half and Quarter Square Triangles. There are many ways to make them depending upon the size and quantity needed and the scrappiness of your quilt. We will show you multiple methods for piecing the block accurately and give you tips and tricks we have learned through multiple failures :) If you are also taking the 4 and 9 Patch classes, we suggest using the same or coordinating fabric so we can show you how to bring the various units together into a unique block of your own design.

Cost: $ 25.00
Interested in Quilting but not sure where to start? Not sure what fabrics go together to look good? Then this class is for you! We will be making a lap size quilt using the Yellow Brick Road pattern from Atkinson Designs, a great go to pattern that you will use over and over again and can be expanded to larger sizes as needed. A full day class that will teach you basics of fabric selection, cutting techniques, 1/4" seam skills and basic piecing using various size squares and a final border to frame the entire quilt top. You probably will not get the entire quilt top done in the day, but we will have you well on your way to finish it at home or you can come in and finish it at the shop during a sew in. At the end, you will have a lap size quilt top to show off your efforts!

Cost: $ 55.00
